From Long Island, NY. Sloppy as hell, fuzzed-out, and couched somewhere between early Jawbreaker, Latterman and Young Pioneers. Six tracks of stripped down punk/hardcore shouted, screamed, and sung with distorted soul and tortured melody. This Long Island, NY quartet of aging punkers deconstructs the verse-chorus-verse paradigm and replaces it with linear blasts and brief vignettes. With a running time of 11-minutes, the entire EP is couched in an ambient and harsh background collage of bleeps, blops, and static noise. The songs themselves range from visceral accounts of human trauma and mental anguish to headier meditations on labor, hierarchy, and war; mostly melancholy but punctuated by parts of joy and hope.
